Sunday Worship on Radio 4 at 8.10am this Sunday 15th January is being led by the Synod Chair Rev Dr Stephen Wigley.
He will be reflecting on the impact of the ecumenical movement in drawing Christians closer together on this Sunday before the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity which begins on Wednesday 18th January.
The service will be available via BBC Sounds – BBC Radio 4 – Sunday Worship, Shared traditions and treasures after Sundays’ broadcast.

This email is just to let you know that the Synod Office at Cyncoed will be closed from lunchtime Tuesday 20th December 2022 to Tuesday 3rd January 2023.
During this period, there will be some monitoring of emails, but the Administrator will be taking annual leave.
Stephen will be taking leave between 23rd December and 3rd January and available only in the case of pastoral emergencies.
Jennie will taking a pastoral break from 26th December until 7th February 2023.

Sunday, 30th October 2022, will be another milestone in the history of the battle against addiction to alcohol, drugs and other harmful behaviours in Wales.
This is Wales’ eleventh Recovery Sunday. On this Sunday, we invite Christians to unite in prayer for those who are dependent and trapped in addiction, asking God to help us to help them.
In our service this year, which has been composed by Siôn Aled of Cynnal, we will reflect on cultivating that miraculous inner peace in our own lives and on how we can lead others to experience the same healing.

On 27th February 2022, Daud Irfan, Methodist Youth President 2021/2022, accompanied by the Revd Irfan John, his father and the Wales Synod Enabler for Culturally Diverse Congregations, are to walk from Rumney Methodist Church in Cardiff to Wesley’s Chapel in London, raising awareness of the need for more diverse leadership in the Church.
The Synod Chair, Rev’d Dr Stephen Wigley, is leading Radio 4’s ‘Prayer for the Day’ for the week Saturday 5th – Friday 11th February 2022 at 5:43 am on BBC Radio 4.
Each edition will be available of BBC Sounds after broadcast.
